Backstage, or under rather, at the RNC

Television media coverage is boring, at least for those covering it. Miles and miles and miles of cable, hours upon hours of setup and testing for 2 minutes of airtime, working odd hours because a reporter from the other coast wants to use your truck to transmit a feed. Setup, check the quality of your feed, find the quickest route to the bathroom and food (whether catered or junk) and then settle in for the shot. It's the same routine, over and over and over - Except this time. Jay Rosen at PressThink gives an under-the-scenes look at how the Republicans are doing things differently, and at the same time, makes it sound like the Democrats are still doing things old school.
